A Little About the Founder

I’m the owner and founder of Desert Moss Wellness.

For over 15 years, I worked in the restaurant industry, mostly behind the bar. During that time, I developed a passion for health, nutrition, and learning how to better support my body. I’ve explored different ways of eating, questioned ingredients, and spent years researching wellness. One thing I’ve learned along the way is that growth comes from being willing to keep learning.

In October 2025, I started Desert Moss Wellness with one simple goal: to create sea moss people could actually trust.

As I researched the industry, I realized there was very little transparency about where sea moss came from, how it was handled, or what was actually in it. I wanted to do things differently.

Today, every batch is handcrafted in small batches using premium Tanzanian sea moss, organic ingredients, spring water, and raw honey. Every strand is washed and inspected by hand because I believe quality starts long before the blending process.

My promise has always been simple:

No mystery moss. Ever.

When I’m not making sea moss, you’ll usually find me homeschooling my son, spending time with my family, reading my Bible, or working on new ideas for Desert Moss. Farmers markets have become one of my favorite parts of this journey because I get to meet the people I’m serving and hear their stories face-to-face.

Thank you for supporting this dream. Every order helps support my family and allows me to continue creating products with honesty, intention, and care.

My hope is that Desert Moss Wellness becomes a trusted staple in homes across the country, one jar at a time.

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up.”
